I'd like to follow a proposal at commitment stage.

I'm interested in that area, and I would like to read the site once it comes up, but I'm not going to commit because I don't know if I'll have any question (and I likely am not expert enough to have any answers).

I'd just want to "favourite" it to get a notification or something when (if) it starts, to be able to lurk it when it does.

Are there more people who would find such a feature useful?

Questions on Area 51 Discussion are expected to relate to new proposal ideas, existing proposals, or anything else having to do with the new site creation process, within the scope defined in the FAQ.

This is possible, if a proposal is in "Commitment Stage" simply click on the "Definition" tab and you can follow it as usual.
