I'm not sure if this is what you meant, but your question mentions discussion, and Stack Exchange isn't really meant to support discussions, it's really intended to be strict Q&A. This might be a place to ask specific things about RepRap software (perhaps asking which RepRap firmware supports acceleration/5d volumetric/etc. or which slicers can do X) but not general discussion. – Dogmatixed Mar 19 '12 at 15:51
