Proposal: iOS Jailbreaking Development

Perhaps this proposal should be generalized to include OS X. I'm sure there are a number of private APIs for it.

Can't these questions be asked in Stack Overflow? http://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/jailbreak

Stack Overflow would seem to be the best place to find the top experts in this domain. This proposal has been over a year in Area 51 Definition. I'm afraid this isn't likely to create a viable site. Bring your questions to Stack Overflow.

@TylerCrompton Such users need to be hit on the head with a clue stick. Flag any such comments. I don't frequent the iOS tags, so I don't know how widespread unwarranted closures are, but when the subject comes up on Meta.SO, the answer is that there's no problem about jailbreaking (e.g. this. – Gilles Jan 20 at 0:29

While I believe that iOS jailbreaking does not seem suitable for SO, it would fit really well with the Hacking proposal. Jailbreaks would make a good tag for the more generalized Hacking Q&A.
