Does “Life in Switzerland” belong in “Immigration”?

Proposal: Life in Switzerland

Does this belong in “Immigration”? Yes and no... If one considers questions related to permits, jobs, finding housing, removal agencies - then it's indeed part of general immigration thema.

However there are some questions that clearly belong to Life in Switzerland and not necessarily to the other category. Consider for example:

• How to block my personal information from the AutoIndex? (a service that allows anyone to lookup the details of the vehicle owner)
• Is it possible to get good car insurance deals by joining TCS?
• What is this legal insurance for private people that I keep hearing about?
• Where can I get cheap winter tires in the Geneva area?
• I'm planning to get a new car. Should I take a loan or lease it?
• I'd like to buy a new car from US. Will there be any problems with registering it here?
• I was fined on SBB even though I had a ticket....
• Will my ADSL modem work with Bluewin?

I think the most interesting part of your proposal is really about life questions. So no it definitively don't belong to immigration for me. But the immigration questions related to Switzerland stay between both proposals. You will be able to establish a real policy during the beta launch related to the avancement of the immigration proposal.
