There is already such a stack exchange at www.outflopped.com.

That is a Stack Exchange 1.0 site and does not benefit from being part of the ecosystem that is Stack Exchange 2.0. Their existence should not hinder the progress of the Poker Stack Exchange 2.0 proposal.

I think Outflopped.com previously used the Stack Exchange 1.0 engine, but it's currently using the OSQA engine (an open source clone of Stack Exchange). Either way the site is independent of Stack Exchange Inc so the point about "being part of the ecosystem" remains valid. – moberley Nov 17 '11 at 18:28
