Do site name and site URL need to be similar for StackExchange sites?

Proposal: 3D Graphics, Modeling & Applications

Site name and URL are currently being discussed for this site proposal. How similar do the name and URL need to be? For example, if the URL would be cgi.se.com, would the name need to have "CGI" or some reference to CGI in it?

Based on the some of the existing sites, I'd say it's not required...

• apple.stackexchange.com = Ask Different
• bricks.stackexchange.com = LEGO Answers
• cooking.stackexchange.com = Seasoned Advice
• diy.stackexchange.com = Home Improvement
• mechanics.stackexchange.com = Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

...but of course, those are a relative minority out of all the launched/beta sites.
