Proposal: Race & Race Relations

While there is nothing prohibiting simular proposals, followers of Race & Race Relations may be insterested in the broader proposal Overcoming Oppression

I'm not quite sure I agree that the Overcoming Oppression proposal is broader. There is certainly some overlap but both proposals cover topics that would not belong on the other. – Nathan Osman Nov 12 '16 at 2:39

I did look into Overcoming Oppression first, but I found that the two topics are not exactly synonymous and therefore I went ahead with this idea.

It's kind of like the square vs rectangle issue. There are some issues with race and racism that have nothing to do with oppression, such as why certain "races" (really just genetically distinct populations) have higher rates of certain diseases (regardless of geographical location). These are not issues of oppression.
