Proposal: Tamil Language

We are very low in the number of followers and we need to market our proposal elsewhere to gain new followers. I suggest we add embend our site add in various places. I did start it with my profile. Also I have asked various facebook groups and pages to support our cause. I suggest you do the same.

Here I will be providing a list of websites or fb pages who have been contacted. I am crating this list so that we will not bother the same person twice. Feel free to edit the list.

I agree with this. You can use the site's default ad for now. Here is the HTML code - <a href="http://area51.stackexchange.com/proposals/96929/tamil-‌language?referrer=c3‌1AFeaQwlsLba3OaKYK4g‌2"><img src="http://area51.stackexchange.com/ads/proposal/96929.png" width="300" height="250" alt="Stack Exchange Q&A site proposal: Tamil Language" /></a> – Kolappan Nathan Jul 29 '16 at 18:25

This is live now. This will rotate with other ads. @KolappanNathan is there a checklist that you can share to make this proposal accepted? Perhaps I can help on strategizing on achieving the checklist. I do think bringing the community in any form is very important. – dors Aug 3 '16 at 14:21

THe present checklist we to fulfill is to have 40 example questions with 10 or more upvotes. So all we need is users asking quality or practical questions and voting questions that they think are useful. These questions can be about learning, translating, teaching Tamil or reg the languages history, illlakiyam, illakanam(grammar), etc... However opnion based questions such as Which author's explanation for thirukural is best? should be avoided. And finally, Thank you so much for the effort you have taken in this regard. I really appreciate that. – Kolappan Nathan Aug 3 '16 at 15:58
