My wife and I run a team of sales consultants for a direct sales company and we are currently using group pages on a social networking site (FB) which people can post questions and answers to, but they get lost over time and we find ourselves answering the same question multiple times. I would like to create a community here on Stack Exchange for them and other consultants to participate in.

So how do I get started?

Unfortunately, we really don't host sites for individual teams as your post seems to suggest. Stack Exchange was created to host Q&A site for larger fields of expertise as a whole to create a general public cannon of knowledge for other folks in that field.

You can read more about that process here (http://area51.stackexchange.com/faq), but truthfully, our services are not really designed for this type of application. We do not create white-label sites for 3rd-party services, and our Q&A subjects typically cover much broader applications.

Sorry I do not have better news for you, but to answer your question directly: to propose a new Q&A site, start on the main page, pick a category to the left and scroll to the bottom to 'propose a new site.'

Having said that, I went looking for clones and there's actually a meta answer about this very subject. http://meta.stackexchange.com/questions/2267/stack-exchange-‌clones – Alan Asher Aug 7 '14 at 17:35
